Deadlift - Week 2 of Coan/Philippi Routine
Worked up to 460lbs x 2 rep **Reset totally each rep, 2nd rep better than first
375lbs x 3 reps x 8 sets **Reset on each rep, beltless and went double overhand grip
Ab Pulldowns
60,80,100lbs x 20 reps each set
I was low on time so that's all I did. While I was warming up to the 460lbs set I tried using a hook-grip. Wasn't very nice but I will keep working on it.
**Thursday night was supposed to be an overhead press workout but I had some home reno work to be done since we are selling our house in the spring. As always, my work didn't go as planned and it took me longer than a normal person could have done it....haha No overhead workout. I will move it to my bench workout day on Monday since I am switching my split up and putting bench on the back burner for awhile. Not changing anything too crazy, just ditching bench and adding a workout for some assistance work that I may miss throughout the week. It will also act as sort of a recovery day to get blood moving but not push serious weight.
**In the next week or so I will be moving all my strongman/gym equipment to Joe deWitt's place. He will be giving me a key so I can get into his seperate 3 car garage in his backyard whenever I want. Together we will just about have a full line up of equipment. The garage is heated with a level concrete floor and lots of space. I have been going to Quinte Fitness but I can't workout in a public gym. There is nothing like a garage workout.
